Libri “Posteri Shqiptar - Një histori e shkurtër e imazhit të propagandës” është një punë kërkimore disavjeçare rreth posterit të propagandës në Shqipërinë e shekullit XX.
Pothuajse i gjithë koleksioni i posterave të përdorur në këtë libër është i panjohur dhe i pabotuar më parë.
Libri përmban 250 ilustrime posterash nga vitet 1905 – 1990, të cilët gjenden në koleksione të ndryshme private, Bibliotekën Kombëtare dhe Arkivin Qendror Shtetëror.
Premisa e këtij libri është analizimi i ikonologjisë, traditës së imazhit që gjendet pas posterave, si edhe pikasja e ndryshimeve të ndodhura në këtë traditë, të ardhura si pasojë e ndryshimeve ideologjike në Shqipërinë e shekullit XX.
Pavarësisht se fokus kryesor hulumtimi në liber është posteri propagandës gjatë regjimit diktatorial, historiku i këtij zhanri piktorik në Shqipëri është më i hershëm. Ndaj, një paraqitje në kronologji historike e posterit te propagandës na ndihmon të zbulojmë dhe të kuptojmë konceptimin, zhvillimin e formës dhe ndikimin që pati ky zhanër mbi publikun, për të cilin ishte krijuar.
“Albanian Poster - A brief history of propaganda image" condenses a several year’s research efforts about the propaganda poster in twentieth century Albania.
Almost the entire collection of posters used in this book was unknown and previously unpublished.
The book contains 250 illustrations of posters from 1905 to 1990, found in various private collections, the National Library and the Central State Archive.
The premise of this book is the analysis of iconology, the tradition of the image that lays behind the posters, as well as the discernment of variations that occurred in this tradition, as a result of ideological changes in twentieth century Albania.
Despite the fact that the main focus of research in this book is the propaganda poster during the dictatorial regime, the history of this pictorial genre in Albania begins earlier. Therefore, a presentation in historical chronology of the propaganda poster helps us discover and understand the conception, the development of the form and the influence that this genre had on the public for which it was created.
