UV-C radiation - what is it?
UV-C radiation is a type of ultraviolet radiation produced by the sun. Naturally, it does not reach the surface of our planet because it is absorbed by the earth's ozone layer, which is why it is often called vacuum radiation. In natural conditions, there is no possibility of exposure to this type of radiation because the air absorbs it strongly.
 
UV-C radiation is one of three types of ultraviolet radiation naturally present in the atmosphere, emitted by the sun. However, it does not reach the Earth's surface because it is absorbed by the Earth's atmosphere. UV-A and UV-B radiation reaches the Earth's surface, responsible for, for example, tanning.
 
The UV-C radiation in our environment is from artificial man-made sources - such as LED UV-C lights. Why does man artificially produce UV-C radiation? Because it has been proven to have strong bactericidal and virucidal properties. Radiation acts directly on nucleic acids in the cells of living organisms. Causing the mutation of RNA and DNA viruses, it inhibits their growth and prevents their further infection.
 
Viruses, despite their microscopic size, contain DNA and RNA nucleic acids. UV-C radiation has a neutralizing effect on nucleic acids. As a result, a photochemical reaction occurs that leads to the breaking of the bond between successive carriers of information in the nucleic acid. Their chemical structure changes, which results in the inhibition of virus growth.

The condition for achieving the full term of the regular and extended warranty is installation exclusively by an authorized company/trade/service, and periodic annual warranty inspections/services by an authorized company/trade/service. In order for the guarantee to be valid throughout the entire period, it is necessary before at the end of the first, and before the end of each subsequent year of the warranty period, perform a warranty inspection/service. Such an inspection/service is performed exclusively by an authorized company/trade/service. The customer takes care of the timely implementation of the annual warranty inspection/service, and the authorized service technician, after inspecting the device, certifies the warranty certificate that the periodic annual inspection has been performed.
The annual service inspection is charged according to the price list of the company/trade/service that performed the service inspection.
If the annual warranty inspection/service is not done, i.e. if the warranty card is not certified by authorized companies/trades/services, then the warranty ceases to be valid after 12 months from the date of sale or installation.
